You would need much more than just the supercharger. The heads would need to be changed, the lower intake manifold changed, accessory bracket changed...not to mention the fuel rail, the injectors, and running the new fuel lines as the L36 lines won't mate to the fuel rail.

On top of that, the PCM needs to be reflashed for an L67 tune, boost control wiring needs to be added, and the transmission beefed up with a heavy duty differential and matching passenger axle.

That's too much like work.

Plenty of good mods. Cheapest would be gutting your airbox. If you have not already done so, I would do the lower intake gaskets...replace those with aluminum-framed ones and there's a good chance that motor will last forever...or at least much longer than with the stock gaskets. While the lower intake manifold is off of the motor, either yourself or someone else could port match the intake. That single mod will make that engine respond well.

Intense is very good. I've been running an Intense-flashed PCM for ~2 years now with nothing but good things to say about it. It definitely woke up the car. The transmission tweaks are the things you notice most about it. Being able to drop 2 gears by flooring it is nice. It's not the absolute best tuning option. It's good enough for the guy who wants to plug-and-play a tune. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their PCM.

Here's where you could go with your SE for ~$500: Tuneup, 180* thermostat (also required for Intense PCM), Intense PCM, polyurethane endlinks, gutting the airbox, Amsoil EaA air filter, ported LIM. That will give you a better-driving, better-handling car.

First, before you do anything, check the car for any mechanical issues, and get those taken care of. Also, if there's any rust, make sure it's not car-killing, or won't lead to structural issues after you've sunk money and time into the engine and suspension.

You take 5.25" front speakers....the 4" just won't cut it for you.

Yes, your speakers should be 5.25"
It's easy enough to check before ordering though.

Definitely 5.25" for the front. If you have the tweeter grilles, you can get components with separate tweeters.

Let me put this very simply: Crutchfield is WRONG. They have been wrong before and are still wrong with this. That's all it is. I know they're a useful source of information on what fits in various cars. But they're just wrong on this.

Out of curiosity, have you done this yet?
http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/fo ... =53&t=1061

If not, you better account for about 200 of your mod budget right there, and do that first. It'll give you the opportunity to port your LIM, which is the biggest flow restriction on the motor, and will enable all other mods to perform far better.
