crash93ssei wrote:We have a lot of room in our house, and TONS of floor space if you don't mind the floor to sleep on. Also I have a HUGE yard to camp in if anyone would prefer to rough it  If you own place is more your style, there is about a dozen hotels within 15 minutes from my house, many of them pretty much a straight shot from my house. If you would rather go that way, let me know and I will get some prices :beerchug:

Hello all. I called around to a few hotels today and here's the verdict.

Fairview Inn (989) 631-0070
Standard double bed room $79 for Friday $79 for Saturday $72 for the rest of the week
They only have 6 rooms left for Friday night and 10 rooms left for Saturday night they have 50 rooms left for the rest of the week.

Two of the one's I called were booked that weekend and much of that week. There are a couple with rooms available for $110+ for that weekend.

I just thought I would get the information out to you all so you have it.

As for wanting to stay at our house..... you are more that welcome.

We have 2 single mattresses a queen size air mattress, plenty of tenting room and lots of floor space.

You will be happy to hear we are getting new carpet for the living room and Peyton's room on monday so it will be comfy to pass out on!!!!! :beerchug:

If there is room in the house, my daughters would prefer floorspace. But I think the floor space is already called for in the house, so I'm bringing my tent... Me and my GF can rough with the wildlife. Actually, I may have room for a couple more people in the tent as well. Not sure if my son is coming too or not.

Hey does anyone have extra air mattresses? I've managed to loan mine out, never to be returned. lol.

I would have to check, I thought we had 2 but I know we had at least had one air mattress. We had 4 sleeping bags as well, which reminds me, I recall my brother got them wet last time he went camping, and rather than drying them out he shoved them into the Molest'a'Bus-o-Storage where they have become moldy...perfect.

Something I'll have to look into... I'll let you know. But thanks for the reminder, I'll have to probably get new sleeping bags at least.

Another thought(s):
-Ryan, Since IIRC you installed one on the '03, are you game for helping me with a remote starter install during the week?
-Is anyone going, capable & interested in tinkering with a certain 2001 PCM? :)

I'm sure we can find room for everyone. If not on the floor we have a tent we could put up as well. I think we may have two tents. I am going to go through and do an updated list and have Ryan put it on page 1 soon. But first I need to wright my paper so I don't fail my online class :bs:

Liz and I will be bringing our own tent, but if we roll in late Thursday night we might need some floor space for just one night... is that cool with you guys?

Getting closer, can't wait, and I might have to stick around if you're going to that car show, Ryan! I also should have my new tires on by then, as well.

Interesting thing though, had bad storms the other night, and I think something massive like a transformer nearby got hit, as 2 of my TVs, cable box, router, 2 computers, and an external hard drive are all fried now, and my Bonneville has been acting very strange, electronics wise. So hopefully, I can work the bugs out before the trip.

Oh, and Ryan, do you think by the time Danny and I make it up to your place, that they'll be room in your place for us to sleep, or do you think we'll have to check out a hotel?

Ouch. When we have bad storms hit, we go around and unplug our surge protectors, as my grandpa's house got hit by lightning, blew up his TV while he was watching it, and caused $25k in damage.
Bye Bye:

When and what time were you thinking?

We have lots of floor space and could set up a tent in advance if not.

Ok, so here's the thing. I have been trying to keep up on all the pages of who's coming and who's not but I'm lost........(no, it's not a normal thing peterg and everyone else that was thinking that  )

So, since Ryan has been working (sitting there :booty: ) I am trying to take over this task.....

If you could all go to the first page and see if your name is on it that would be great. If it is not on there could you pm me please so I can update it. :helpsmilie:

Oh and if you are going to be here friday night could you pm me and let me know what time please. We may go out to dinner and would feel bad if we left one behind..... :sad5:
