Anywho, my next ride is going to be a Bonneville. I would LOVE a GXP, but I'll take an SSEi too. So my thinking is, I would love to drop in a Cadillac LC3. I guess what I am wondering is if it would be better to convert it to RWD via hanging the body on a RWD frame or switch up the engine and make it FWD in the Bonneville's engine bay. 469 hp in a Bonneville would be totally sweet, and I really have a thing for the Northstar engines. I even have an LX5 ShortStar in my Intrigue!
I am thinking that for ease of fabrication, FWD is the way to go, but then I have other issues, like what transmission can handle all that raw, unadulterated power? What will my torque steer be like? Will I wind up driving into a guard rail when I gun it leaving an intersection?
I really like the LC3, and I love the Cadillac STSV it belongs to, but I love Bonnevilles more
