Grand Sport Stripes

I'm thinking of putting grand sport stripes on my Bonneville. I would get them either burnt orange or flat black. I did my best at "photoshoping" the stripes in.

Grand Sport stripes look out of place on the Bonne I hate to say.

Kinda don't mind it, but I think the orange looks tacky, I bet the flat black would be sexy as hell, though.

They look OK, matte black might look cool, sleeper, but idk. Probably not worth the money unless you're a body guy and have the paint laying around.

If I do decide to put the stripes on I will use vinyl. Has any one put some form of striping on there car besides pin stripes?

Not on most Bonnevilles, and not on a 2000+ at all IMO...

EDIT: IMO it has to be a Corvette, or a sports/track car to have them at all....

Allmachtige had black racing stripes on his red 93 (94?) SSE. And I seem to remember someone with orange racing stripes on a black 00+ SLE/SSEi.

And granted it's a different car, but I saw grey Grand Sport fender stripes like above on a black G8 today. Wasn't bad.

I had considered the hash marks on the fender too at one point. Would be simple enough to have a graphics shop cut you a length of vinyl and stick it on. Don't like it, pull it off.
