Help with cleaning tinted tails.

Post by calaeb0896 »

Hey everyone i tinted the tail lights on my 03 regal just like the techinfo page( minus the wetsanding) It looks pretty good not super shiny but not matte looking. I just washed my car and they have little water spots all over them. I tried just wiping it off but it still looked dirty. What kind of products should i use to clean them and keep them looking good? Thanks Calaeb

Get some light polish that can be used by hand like Meguiar's Scratch-X or Plast-X either one will add a little gloss to the tails and should remove the water spots.

I agree. Scratch-X would be a great choice. How many coats of clear did you put on?

Tried that today. Also i bought a oribital buffer from wal mart for 15 bucks. I work there so i got a discount. But i waxed it with liquid glass, and i dont know if its just me or my imagnation(spelling) but it looks alot better then when i do it by hand. It started to rain today so i put it away but ill take some pics asap and let you guys see. Plus i need a new sig since i dont drive a bonneville anymore lol.
