97 ssei fwi install pix

Talk about modifications, or anything else associated with performance enhancements. Have a new idea for performance/reliability? Post it here. No idea is stupid! (please use Detailing and Appearance for cosmetic ideas)

97 ssei fwi install pix

Post by pmicaza »

hi,

does anyone have pix or instructions on installing an intense fwi on a 97 ssei?\
i searched here, youtube and google but cant seem to find what i need.
i thought there was a factory hole i could use but that does not appear to be the case. also,
is the pcm retained with velcro? is there a better choice for velcro other than radio shack's heavy duty?

thanks,
peter

I will try to get a pic for you when I clean my filter. I used some existing holes in the body of the car to relocated the PCM so it's facing the front. however, I can't fit the top cover on this way. I can't remember if I had to move the EVAP canister. I'll post a pic when I can, I haven't had time to work on my car lately.

This is from my 1999 SSE. I don't know how much different yours is. The filter goes through the hole where the canister was.
