thanks for the compliments.

Yes, those particular sachi rims work quite well on it - absolutely perfect color match with the interior. It gives it a "dark knight" kind of look. Then a little window tint job would make it look wicked. I bought the rims just for the winter tires but might end up using them full-time at some point.

I'm just "okay" with the chrome swoopies (and I heard they add a lot of weight), so for now the winter switch to the dark version for 5 months is a nice change.

Yeah those snow tires are amazing. I do a lot of winter hwy driving out to the cabin. Waaaay better and safer than just the 'All-season' tires.

Agree with everyone else- I'm glad you posted, and the wheels do look super with the car.

Looks like you have been busy keeping the car in good shape, and it shows! Nice job.

Redeyes, I've seen multiple 00's in that color (PDad's, for one) and those are the same badges all 00-01's have. Not trying to put you down, just pointing out the truth.

I love the color too. The color is officially named 'Dark Red Metal Flake' and is not uncommon. However, mine appears a little different as the original owner paid for extra clear coat.

GMC Guy: they are relatively inexpensive and can be bought at Canadian Tire.
