Sway Bar Bushings

Post by Silver03Se »

Im installing a rear sway bar, and upgrading the front. Compliments of Haro's diligent salvage operation. Any suggestions on bushings? I found the harder gm bushings, but was curious if anybody makes a good urethane set. Or if the factory ones are good enough until i update the shocks...

Techinfo is your friend. The universal kit I list for the rear of the 92-99 will give you the bushings you want.

Your profile told me what you have. As well as your username. ;)

Yes, as I said, the rear bushing kit I list for the 92-99 in that Techinfo article will give you the bushings you need. You can get the correct front kit by simply measuring the length and going to autozone, and pick the one off the shelf you need.

IIRC when we installed these on Pdad's 2k SSEi a few years back, we had to cut the Energy Suspension spacer a little shorter to match OEM.
