Those early IS cars looked too much like Corollas to me, no offense.

Better keep an eye on that 3.0L V6. Two words: engine sludge.

Wrong engine. The 1MZ-FE 3.0L V6 is known for sludge if not maintained religiously. This is the 2JZ-GE INLINE-six, also 3.0L. It is the non-turbo Supra motor.

It's basic form has been around since 1991, with updates like variable valve timing added over the years. It is, in my opinion, one of THE most reliable engines by ANY automaker. The 3800 has nothing on this guy  The only Technical Service Bulletins are repair manual corrections, and it's very hard to find common problems amongst the forum community.

In the last 10 years, I'd say this is one of the cars that Toyota DIDN'T *fook* up.

Personally I'd probably swap the IS badges for Altezza badges. And I know thats a bit ricey/JDM-ish but I still think it would be sick. Kinda like swapping a G8 with Holden badges.
