Lemme know if you need wiring help. I've got...three and half (doing one now) swaps under my belt, and each one has been unique, depending on what needed to be done and how.
2005 GXP - White Gold Pearl, no mods...yet.
2000 SSEi - Resurrection in progress. Built L67 w/L32 fuel rail, ported heads, and cam. Camaro front brake system, GXP cluster, and much more in planning.

You are going to love that car... There is nothing that looks like it or feels like it.. And 91 is the best year of that Body Style.. The 91's had the upgrades, and is mostly like a 92 under the skin.. Many parts will cross right over...

Yep... And the Body had the provisions for the Torque Axis mounts too... The threaded holes are there if he didn't use them...

I've replaced the dash in my car, and it wasn't too hard, but I was able to take it apart myself. Good luck with that one!

Definitely a good opportunity, Taylor.

Look, the coolant and wiper fluid bottles are on the pulley side!
No air bag! 8-[

Great looking condition.

anybody familiar with the 92 and 91 gauge clusters? are they close to the same in size? I am trying to figure out if a 92 gauge cluster would fit into the 91's dash. even if its close im sure i could modify something. thanks

I must ask why would you bother with the 92 Cluster? and they are shaped very differently.. Is the Cluster bad or damaged?

no its not damaged i just was toying with the thought so i would have all the gauges and such . it would probably be easier to use use the 91 cluster and a few after market gauges than it would be to alter the dash . figure if the guy i bought it from doesnt come up with the fsm today I am going to go ahead and order one because i definitely need it to dso this wiring. I also have a key and ignition with pass key , think it would be easier to put the whole ignition in or do a vats delete either in the pcm or bypass it with a resisitor?

With the key, you can measure with an ohmmeter for the vats bypass. That's easier (assuming you have the original 91 key that goes with the car to use after that). Otherwise, use the 92 key and switch, but do the vats bypass.

You will most definitely want the torque-axis mount on that L67. If you didn't get one in good condition, add that to your list. Without it, the L67 will tear up the other mounts in short order.

Can someone post a pic of a SSE dash from that era? Or refresh me? The only gauge I think I'd consider adding is a boost gauge. And that's only so you know you got it right, and to diagnose problems in boost control later. It can also be a valuable too in determining whether or not you have a vacuum leak.
