Another Problem

Post by RookieSSei »

well .. it's been a while I'm having yet another issue with my bonni okay when I drive it the back shocks on the driver sides hits really hard like it's blown. but when I took it to a guy i know to check it out he noticed the car was higher on the passenger side. he took both back tires off and said the shocks are compressing no leaks . what could it be? I also notice when i put it in reverse i sometimes get a noise and i dont here the buzzing noise anymore when i first start the car . could the air ride compressor be going bad ? I need help

I am no expert like these other gurus; however I just had a similar problem last summer.
If you are comfortable concerning the safety have a friend drive your car on a freeway and you follow. Watch the two rears. Good chance one is not behaving the same as the other with regards to road bumps. Mine was not leaking and I could not determine the differences on the car. Down the road it was quickly apparent I had a bad shock.

Also make sure where the top part of the shock/body meet there is no funny business going on. My neighbor’s car had almost punched through the trunk sheet metal (not a Pontiac).

Buzzing? Could the compressor mounts be getting loose or something loosely lodged in between the body and compressor?
