I would like to be added as an attendee :ack:

I plan on making it back this year. After missing last year, I don't plan on missing another one.

I think it would be fun to change the location once in awhile. Please don't worry about whether or not I can make it though. The majority of those attending are in the northwest and western Canada and should be designed for the most folks, not some whack-o from Arizona. If others want a meet closer to (or in Canada), then go for it. I'll just need to look at some maps and do some 'cipherin to see what I would be in for.

Wasn't here for '06, met you in '08 and I guess I could enjoy your company again for '10........although I did miss getting your surprise Christmas call last year.

We will always be glad to have you Tracy, after all, who else will race a rental for us?

I also wanted to throw out an idea I can check into.

There is an air museum here in McMinneville, Or that likes to have groups come in. I know the PDXCGP group has done a cruise in there every year and I can inquire about it and get some info if people would be interested. Here is the link:http://www.sprucegoose.org/

It is a 1.5 hour drive from the KOA.

If there is anything else someone is interested in, either post here or send me a PM and I can check things out since I am here in the area. I understand that people want things to do, but I do look forward to the track days each year also. Maybe we can have a couple of days with some extra activities together.

Sorry for the long delay on posting to this thread.

I will try with everything I have to attend this meet and will love to bring my son for a bit of bonding time as well.
We have a family reunion in Toronto next year and will take lots of resources to pull off in early August so not sure how long we will be able to stay but for sure will do a long weekend.

This area is more than ideal for a future meet if there is interest, there is a drag strip, 1/2 mile oval that is open to the public baring any cascar events as well numerous parking lot pylon competitions most weekends (my fav is the corvette club). There are several car shows each month, many cruise ins, various club meets (including Ferrais'), go cart tracks, atv rentals, house boat rentals and such. As for other venues there are many wineries, cruise areas, music festivals, golf courses, mountain bike trails, etc etc.
As for accommodations there is plenty of camping both lake side, river side and other, as well numerous hotels and motels.
With all of that 2010 will not be ideal for me planning with all that is on the go next year but 2011 and beyond would be my pleasure :)

Woot, see you all next summer :beerchug:

I'm not totally certain that I'll be driving down there next July. With all the changes on the home front and no Bonneville I'm having second thoughts.

Weather and willing female companion permitting, I may fly down and rent a car though. I've been neglecting my flying lately and plan to make up for it next summer. Oregon is a great flying destination, so many places to visit from the ocean to the desert. That aircraft museum in McMinneville has been on my list of places to visit for many years.

Last time I saw Bill (about a month ago), his garage still looked like WCBF '09 was going on! He was just starting to clean it up, had a lot of scrap metal to dispose of.
By the way, has anyone heard from Bill lately? Lets make sure he's still gonna make it to WCBF '10...

Bill hasn't returned any of my calls either. I've stopped by his house a few times in the evening and he either wasn't there or didn't answer the door. I'll keep trying to find him.

This Meet is on hold until we find out if the Host is accepting or....................checked out.

Let's give him until Christmas to respond.
Hopefully the ghost from Christmas Bonneville will prevail.

Hey people, listen, it's come to my attention (via 00Beast) that there are rumors going around about the possible cancellation of WCBF 2010. Or at least the possibility that it will not be hosted by willwren as is tradition. I want to make sure that these rumors are laid to rest. There has been no discussion on that matter and dad has said that there will be an update, via SSEiMatt93, very soon. However I am a bit disappointed in the doubt you people have in me. Was there ever any chance that I would let him cancel that in the first place? I may not be the host but it's my house too, Lisa and I are the Co-hostesses and we get a say in what happens as well. As long as we have friends here, it is my belief that if WCBF discontinues there will still be mini-meets throughout the year. And we wouldn't dream of leaving you all behind. WCBF is my favorite holiday, despite the blood, missing limbs, alcohal consumption, idiots posing inappropriately for pictures (dad, myfirstbonnie), somewhat lack of personal hygiene, and sunburns. Christmas takes a not-even-close second place to my love of spending WCBF with my extended family. You guys are the anti-inlaws.
Much love to you all
-Katie

Now speculation of what hes hiding... my guess is major plastic surgery; perhaps to look like Brad Pitt?

I would love to make the trek this year, but with it being so far out who knows where I will be in a few months. And since its not like its a few hours commute, I am a tentative maybe (at best), so all I can do is express my interest at this point. :)
