another problem

Post by 99bonnie »

hi guys i need some help. started my car to go out this afternoon and as i was driving away after about 5 minutes the car completely died while i was moving. Started the car again and it will not stay running without giving it gas. I got the car home by 2 footing it and got it into my driveway and it stalled again. The car will stay running in park but once put into reverse or drive it bogs out without me pressing the gas. any ideas or related problems

thanks

Check for vacuum leaks. Check all the hoses and fittings. Especially the one under the SC snout. Is the engine light on? If so, try to get the codes pulled.

Try it when it is cold and see if it runs better, or if it acts the same when cold.

Also, double posting is not needed.
