Louder horns?
Louder horns?
I have a 2005 SLE and the horns sound like old people's car horns. I checked them and they both work. Was just wondering if there's another set of horns out there that is louder and better sounding. I do want to stay with a direct bolt on, maybe GM application without having to mod or drilling holes. Are the horns on the Bonneville GXP the same?

Re: Louder horns?
Horns on our GXP, Suburban, and 2500HD are all very similar. My car would be too, but the low horn is gone.

Define better sounding?
I like the Park Avenue horns, and they are louder, but they probably sound more "old people".

Re: Louder horns?
when my horns stopped working, I bought 2 replacements & 2 highway blasters I think they are called. Installed 1 regular & 1 blaster in the stock location. & the same on the other side of the car. Run the wires throug the front of the car to the horn cables. & now is loud. More like a truck kind of loud, but not there yet.
