Post by ptrfair »

hey ive been looking at some of the different engine covers from pics on Pontiac Bonneville Club that some of you all have.
where do i get my hands on a new cool engine cover for my 01 SE. its not an SSEi but it deserves soemthing better than stock boring blah grey.

you could paint it. I did mine black as I also didnt like the stock grey.
also if you still want the 3800 part to be silver wipe it with brake cleaner on a rag
when the paint is still wet. wipe carefully and it comes right off.

others have painted theirs body color, some cut parts off with a dermal and replace those parts with mesh screen.

Either remove it entirely, or cut it out and put mesh in.

I painted mine a silver color. Just simple spray paint does the job.
