Luckily I found a BRAND NEW dash with FREE SHIPPING on ebay for $50. After I got the dash, I was disappointed to find a hole was punchured in the glove box door during the shipping. I contacted the seller and he filled a claim with UPS. He got money back, and mailed me a check for the full purchase price. I got a brand new dash for $0.00.
So here is the wrinkle in the dash.
Here is how my car was this afternoon. Everything is gutted. If you are wondering why the floor is gloss black, its because I painted it with POR-15 a couple years ago to stop the rust that was forming.
Everything is starting to go back together now. New dash is in place, just working on wiring now... ran out of daylight.
If you are wondering why so much of the interior is missing just for a dash swap, its because I'm also working on a few other mods. I am adding a OEM 12-disc CD changer, 04 XM radio and some other stuff not being mentioned yet.
