That is 37 interested members after the members that said they can't make it were subtracted from the list!
Looks like this is going to be a good sized meet! Of course, not all 37 will show or be able to make it, I will actually expect about 20 - 25 for the Kensington meet. Not sure what to even guess for the rest of the weekend or the week at my place, but it would be great to have 15 cars here for the weekend and 8 or 10 for the week!

The best that I can do is that barring unforeseen circumstances, I'll be at the Kensington meet. Whether I'll pop up to your place later in the week sometime, I don't know.

My plans are still for the entire week. Tom and I will be driving up together, my brother might be driving the '93 as well (pending on if we ever get it running ).
I think I'll at least be up there for the weekend and maybe an extra day of the week. This is so ridiculous that I haven't heard back from that summer internship at UVA, which starts in two weeks. I've called them and they just keep saying the professors haven't responded yet... As soon as I find out I'll confirm it here.
The only for sure thing we have planned during the week so far is the drag strip on Wednesday. Other then that, I am taking suggestions. I will keep it upbeat though and not bore anyone to death I will not have people come all the way out here for a week just to watch TV the whole time
There will be a lot of detailing work as well as some mechanical work as well. Not sure to much on modding though as I don't have a scanner and haven't really done any modding. That will depend on if anyone shows up that has experience with that type of stuff.
I can tell you this much.... it will be a great time no matter what
Anyone that has been out here for any meet, large or small can tell you that it is always a great time

What hotels are around that area for that weekend? I'd check them out for prices, then book myself a room.

There is a Holiday Inn, Fariview Inn, and a few others. I will check around and let you know for sure in the next few days.

for sure the track will be a good time. while I am not making it for the week, I am making it saturday and wednesday. I have my vacation in for track day. I will be able to give some pointers on racing to anyone who has never rolled to the tree. Im no pro, BUT I have been going to the track 5yrs now and have a LOT of passes in. I have helped friends cut up to 1/2 second off their ETs with tips and tricks. It will be a good time for sure. Cant wait to waste a few gallons of fuel and a few thousand miles of rubber.
