Although anything is possible, the amount of fabrication and custom work would make this a very prohibitive project.

Keep dreaming though. Innovation is built on ideas.

Keep the second SC on the shelf as a spare.

ive got other projects to do first but yes I have looked into it. The hood will most likely need to be modified. Along with some idler pullers to keep the belt wrapped around the pulleys enough. You'll need to get the throttle to control 2 throttle bodies. You'll have tuning of course to do. Lots of work.

The big question is how are you going to get the trans and diff to hold it.

Let's start with your budget, and we'll get rational from there.

Supercharger ~ $2,500 x 2
Custom inlet plenum for two SC ~ 40 hours of your Dad's friends time + $1,000
PCM mods and tuning ~ $1,000
Exhaust upgrade ~ $1,000
Transmission upgrade ~ $4,000

My guess is about $10 K Cdn minimum with no guarantees that it will be driveable. :beerchug:

Not something I would even try if I had $20 K to blow.

Make sure you retard the timing according to how big your shot is going to be or you will send rods through the block.

PSE superchargers has a dual twin screw 5.4L lightning. There is a build video too that i couldn't find but this vid gives you a basic idea of how they did it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMdiqK68iOg

I think you are exaggerating the cost a little too much. Since when does it cost $2500 for 1 supercharger?

that definatly makes more sense. but i have both already so thats not even an issue. depending on the tranny costs i could have this project near completion by the end of the summer(minus nos). also depends on how much i have to spend on the tranny. i am still waiting for a reply from dirtracr95's friend abbout my 4t60..
