Its the exact same tire as the others, but the tread depth is quite a bit less than the new tires.

The one on ebay is only 6/32", while the ones are the truck are 15/32"... almost half an inch LOL!

I worked on pulling the bumper out today. Winched it from my roommates Chevy 2500. I pulled the driver side of the bumper out about 4". Its close to being perfect, but I won't know where its supposed to be until I get a new headlight and fender. The bumper is kinked and if I get picky I might just replace it, but for right now, as long as the wheelwell is rubbing the tire, its fine.

Ya unless I find a good deal somewhere. I don't want it to turn into a money pit, its supposed to MAKE me money.

If the rust spreads, its just going to ruin and already ruined hood.

Nice find. My neighbor had a '96 Ram 2500 he used as his fire runner, as he was a fire fighter. He sold it when he became the Chief in 2005, and I think it had a little over 200k on it, and he never had a problem with it other than standard maintenance. They aren't bad at all as long as you care for them. Obviously a LOT better than the Dodge in my sig.

how is the treadwear on their commercial tires? from what i understand you don't buy PIRELLI car tires and expect them to last long

I have Pirelli's on my 00 and they are doing great.

I'm not going to change tire brand because of treadwear issues. The other 3 tires are brand new.

Why not just go to a local tire shop and pick up a decent used tire? The shops in the ghetto of Flint sell used tires for about $10 a piece (and that includes mounting and balancing).

i do too, i had to do it recently on the truck due to budget constraints though, i told them to mount the tires blackwalls outside and i come back to see glaring whitewalls advertising my mismatched tires :angry4:
