Bonneville GXP Wheels on Late Model Grand Prix

Hey guys, quick question. Is there any reason that my GXP wheels would not be a good fit on a 2004 and newer Grand Prix? I know the late model Grand Prix GXP's are running 18's but wanted to make sure the Bonneville 18" rims are compatible.

yes there are lots of GP's that have the Bonneville GXP wheels on. actually there are more Gp's that have Bonneville GXP wheels than NON GXP Bonnevilles. I can think of 6 different members on GP sites that have them off the top of my head

Yeah, GXP wheels disappear from salvage yards destined for installation on a Grand Prix more often than for replacement on Bonneville GXP's.
Literally -if you check http://www.car-part.com you'll find 1 or 2 rims. I've been checking there for a friend who wants them for his GTP and I haven't seen more than 2 rims listed in a LONG time.

EDIT -whoa!! There WERE only 2 listed on Wednesday when I last checked. Check again sometime later this week and you'll see some of these places removing their listing.

interesting... anybody know if a 2k will hold 255/45/18's without rubbing?

They would not be for my Bonneville. I've got a set of the Bonneville GXP wheels. I'm considering trading up to a 04-08 Grand Prix and would either put my GXP wheels on it or the Grand Prix GXP rims. Might buy them and store them for a while until I decide what to do.

i thought the GP GXP wheels had a different bolt pattern

Same bolt pattern, just wider front rims.

As I recall you need to run lower profile tires on them to clear the strut but that is it for fitment issues
