Grizz already had a dogbone swap and a bypass hose replacement. Now seat repairs. Zilla's LSD was already done, and we're waiting for the other two cars to do rockers on one, and a SC coupler on the other.

If you want a good laugh while those seats are out...inspect all the motors. The one that doesn't have enough power (recline one) is made in Korea while the others are made by Delco. Amusing eh?

I finally got here, woke everyone up while trying to break in at 6am.

I tried to get here last night but when the road line started moving I decided to stop for a few hours shuteye.

6 hours later I hit the road again, the front seats are not bad for sleeping in when fully reclined.

Parts are in the parts 'washer' (4 valve covers and a LIM). Rockers are going back (new 1.8's) on John's car, and the subframe is dropping on the 2k for the cam swap.

EDIT: Cam is out. I'll get some pics. Subframe had to drop about 5" after we fabbed a 'cradle' to support the engine on the subframe before lowering.

EDIT 2: Subframe is back up, motor mount going on. Still have to install the oil pressure kit and new water pump, then the rest of the reassembly. John is done with the rocker install on his car, and just waiting for squeaky-clean valve covers to come out of the parts washer. We're going to grab some lunch first.

John's freshly 1.8 rockered car is idling and pumping oil up into the valvetrain. Quiet as a purring kitten locked in a dark closet........from next door. Squeaky clean valve covers too.

2k cam job is still slowly going back together. Valve covers just finished baking from wrinkle coat, LIM is in the wash ready for port matching in about an hour. It COULD fire up tonight, but we're not going to rush it. Boss455 and his Wife will be pulling in around 4pm for a supercharger coupler, and we'll have two torn apart again.

Ripping right through every job and more.

can't type with gloves on so all i can say is we're heating up now and the bveer and oil is mixing now!!!!

Tearing down Boss455's car now, he's taking the SLEeper back to the hotel tonight.

Matt is swapping valve springs, retainers, and locks now. Almost done with the front bank, then we're cleaning up for dinner. All other car work is done.


....update. Front bank is done. Wrapping up for the night, heading to china buffet.
