hello all,
my car started some new sysmtoms last week, when i put the car in reverse or drive it has a really heavy vibration coming from the right side of the engine or almost sounds like a machine gun,the crank shaft sensor has been triggering engine light i sont know if this is what happens then the sensor goes bad, also the car has a really foul smell,i changed all spark plugs, wire's & coils so i know it is not the spark.

Re: need some help
Please get the codes read and come back here with them. Most auto parts stores will scan it for free. Without those codes, we could sit here for a month guessing at the problem and throwing parts at it.

Re: need some help
2 weeks ago i scanned it,i had codes for crank shaft sensor, knock sensor 1&2,random miss fires, small fuel evap leak,i reset them, all was fine till last week (wendsday),car would not start i cranked it so much i killed the battery,i jumped it the next day started up then the engine light was flashing for couple min then stayed lit, when i put the car in gear it shakes really bad via the engine, and it smells horrible,i had the intake manifold gasket replaced 7 months ago it had all the same symptoms,i checked under the car and there was oily substance on the ground we had rain so i could not tell if it was oil or tranny fluid.before all this the car ran fine wendsday morning, then when i got it started all this was happening.

Re: need some help
Find out what codes are still there. If the crank sensor is one, that would be a good place to start.
