i tend to roll with bridgestone/firestone for summer tires on all of my vehicles.

you have a bunch of people that have experimented with the series 1 quite a bit telling you that this idea is not feasible. on the other hand, you have one guy with stock cars that aren't even series 1's telling you to hack away... who do you listen to?

a hood should not be near the top of your shopping list... you literally have a million other issues to address. why don't you just mod the car the way it sits now and get the max realistic power out of it? nitrous? sure! a 50-100shot would most likely keep you happy.
