Re: SLE in the 12s

Ah........wooooooooooodburn. I don't know what it is about that place but the times and mph's don't add up there when compared against other dragway times. I'm not sure if they're mph's are slow or what but cars seem to defy physics there. I wasn't trying to ragg man, that's a great time and I'm ...

Re: SLE in the 12s

Congrats, and welcome to the 12 sec club. That's a great 60' time, had to feel good leaving the line. I think your .5sec it a little optimistic though, dragtimes.com puts it about 1.5 tenths quicker at sea level if you were at firebird raceway. Either way, that things a runner. You'll get more out ...

I used the stomp and go method with my QTP's too, seemed to work better than preloading.

Re: New PB in the SSEi -- 12s FINALLY!!!

Tommy, it's awesome that you didn't have to spray windshield washer fluid into your motor to get into the 12's. :) Not only did you make it into the 12's, but your charging hard for mid 12's. :beerchug:

Re: Nitrous

Some of us non-nitrousers have topped 155+ with stock gearing (and limiters removed of course).
Km/h maybe...............easy, easy, easy just getting in a little canuck/US humor lol.
I've seen 140MPH, did it in less than a mile and a half(2.41km for the canucks
). The car is definitely not ...

Re: How about an OFF road story!

Just a heads up, if the DNR gets a hold of pictures of you in an area they deem as wetlands(example:picture of cattails), they can fine you up to $5000 and confiscate your vehicle. And no, it does not matter if you are on private property or not. I would pull the pic of the cattails down. The DNR is ...

Look at the hp loss charts, it's more efficient to run a m112. That's all I was getting at. :beerchug:

Re: supercharger

"M90 but you will be moving more than 33% more air than they are at a better efficiency."
This is an incorrect statement. It will require more horsepower to spin 2 M62's than it will one M-90 with a 2.8 pulley. The M112 comment was right on.

Was he running stock pistons? I'm sure there are no known piston failures from predetonation without nitrous, not that the predetonation is the cylider firing prior to TDC or anything :beerchug:

Re: supercharger

:laughing3: at the "NOS" "rod through the block" comment. For the record, the rods don't usually come through the block on 3800's. You'll chip a piston, and lose compression. If the chip is big enough you'll bend a valve. "rod through the block" keep reading on the internet and repeating as gospel ...

Re: Refit of the Enterprise-B (56K neutral zone)

Very nice... So where are you currently at with the HP range?

320-330?
Based on the exhaust and pulley size, I'd say around 265-275 WHP. Just my $.02. That sounds low and I'm not knocking it. I've just seen what it takes to hit the 300whp level and the mods aren't there to support it ...
