Re: Front seat seatbelt removal instructions needed.

Be safe. If your car has side air bags mounted in the seats, make sure your seat covers are compatible.

Re: Few questions

First seam sealer is normal, as far as lights go, if it is water inside remove the light and drill 2 or 3 small holes in the bottom of the housing (on the backside so you don't see them), if it's clouding on the outside, use a headlamp lens repair kit to clean them up. I agree with SSEiMan01 about ...

Re: Interior Lights stay on

Not necessarily these lock actuators have more than one switch built in. There is a Door jamb switch signal line and a door ajar switch signal line. http://i1075.photobucket.com/albums/w434/awrenchman/actuator.gif

Re: Near stalling when coming to stop and idle

Check for codes anyway. These PCM's will store history codes in memory long after the light goes out. Also clean throttle body and egr. If carbon is sticking either of these open a little, idle and low speed operation will suffer. Good luck

Re: Interior Lights stay on

First thing to do is check for a door jamb switch showing open. If you have access to a scanner that can read them, this car uses a door module in each door that would show you which door is reading ajar in the data list. If you don't, a test you could do is to unplug the drivers door module. It is ...

Re: Random ticking noise from behind the emergency button

After removing the lower cover there is a small inverted torx screw holding the top cover on. It is between the lock cylinder and the steering wheel on the right side. You may have to use a flashlight to see it. It goes in from the bottom but it's way up in there.

Re: Stalling Problem

Might sound goofy but worth checking, look at the fuel lines near the fuel filter. If there are three connections there, two of them may be the same size and incorrectly installed. Look for a white tag on the lines near the connector that says Vapor Line or something similar and make sure the mating ...

Re: Which ABS Pump do I have?

To make sure, also you can find the factory RPO sticker (white or silver sticker with a lot of 3 digit codes on it usually on the trunk lid or the spare tire cover under the carpet) traction control is code NW9 and vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES) is code JL4.

Re: Random ticking noise from behind the emergency button

Hi, after working for a Chevy dealer for over 10 years now,I can let you know a couple of things. First the column in your 2004 is totally different than the 1997 under the lock ring. The 04 uses a multifunction switch/ lever assy that is replaced as a unit rather than being repairable like the 97 ...

New From Central Florida

I'm Mark and I have an 87 LE 230k that I've been the proud owner of for 15 years now, and am in the process of cleaning up a 93 SE that I just bought for my daughter. How can you not love an H Body? Anyway, I'll post some photos as soon as I figure out how to get them uploaded from my desktop.
