OK... the water pump finally died ( I guess I shouldn't complain.. only replaced water pump once in 11years of owning this car )
I know I will have fun with the power steering pump for that one bolt..

Re: Where's the DIY for S/C coupler change info?
P.S.
Anyone know the part number to the BCA/wastgate actuator?
and the vacuum piping from the vacuum tree thing to the actuator?
So I can look it up on gmpartsdirect.com

Re: Where's the DIY for S/C coupler change info?
Thanks drunken monkey
( and boost monkey )
It is the actuator sticking.
The lever doesnt go all the way to the setscrew at the bottom. I can feel a bind spot ( when I moved it up and down). I also duralube'd the shaft and it still binds. Don't know if its the BCA or something else binding it.
So ...

Re: Where's the DIY for S/C coupler change info?
I haven't run a vacuum test on the actuator..
But I do see it moving from extend to full compress when I start the car.
It will extend when I start giving it some gas.
If the MAP sensor reading was off for some reason.. and with the bypass..overide. wouldn't it be theory still build boost?
When ...

Re: Where's the ABS fuse?
I rather not have live dangling wires around. So a fuse is more preferable.
No I dont have my manual.. can't find it.. ( but saw it 2 months ago )
Always the case when you need it.. you can't find it :sad5:

Where's the ABS fuse?
Make a long story short.. one of my speed sensor is failing intermitantly causing my ABS to kick in.
So at the current time I want to pull the fuse to disabe the ABS.
Where is the fuse for the ABS?

Re: No Air Conditioning
The compressor will not engage if it senses too low of a pressure in the AC system. Try pumping some freon in ( and or check the pressure left in the AC line )
