Re: L27 Oil Overfilled
Its best that its not over filled. Plus if the drain plug is leaking they should fix that anyways with a new gasket.

In The Shop
Well after I have only driven the car for a few months and a thousand miles, 68XXX on it now, I took it in for some extended warranty work.

Re: Best battery?
Ive had great luck with Interstate batteries or AC Delco ones. I just got the GXP and the battery is under the back seat. If that is the case in yours then you need a special sealed battery for it. If its under the seat DONT just install any old battery as it can vent fumes and leak inside the car.

Re: New Floormats Came today
I worked at a dealership and use to order alot of mats with Lloyds. Very good quality mats. If they are not fitting correct Im sure they will take care of it for you. You can also make you own template out of paper and send it to them to make them just the way you want. Here are my original mats out ...

Re: Thermostat
Is there any reason why I shouldn't install a 180 deg stat in this thing? I know the normal temp range for a N* is 195-215 but I was wondering if there was any benefit to running a N* cooler?

Re: Thermostat
There is nothing to "enjoy" in putting a cooler thermostat in the car unless you like a motor that is not running as efficent as it should. Fans are to come on in stop and go traffic only. It does not matter what degree thermostat you run for fan control as their job is to keep the coolant cool when ...

Re: Thermostat
Although this is a bit older post incase others are to read this the reply is not totaly true. A lower degree thermnostat will indeed let the car run at a cooler tempature reguardless of the fan temp setting. The thermostat is what controls the emgine temp / coolant flow. It was thought to remove a ...

I cant say if its normal as I havent had mine but a week. However I would check to make sure your coolant level is all the way full in the radiator.

Re: The Garbage Monsoon Factory System
Im in this a bit latebut was it a regular store bought cd? It is getting up in age and I have had luck with using a can of compressed air to spray into units to blow out some dust. GIve it a try and see if it changes anything. I just bought my Bonneville with 67000 on it and I think the stero system ...
