3M also makes a brushed aluminum vinyl too,would be cool to see that accenting dash pieces.

Clean it with alcohol and put primer 94 on the edges. The natural tendency for this vinyl is to straighten in the heat. All those compound corners are going to lift in the heat.

In addition to my 01 ssei, i have an 87 fiero gt which I wrapped in the 3M 1080 matte black vinyl. it was super easy to work with. For compound curves you must use primer 94 or it will lift up in any heat. I surmise this will happen to the venting as soon as it is cold and heat passes through it or ...

Oh yeah it was corroded. The splice is clean. What is FSM? I am searching now, but I don't know what that is. Thanks.

I am experiencing the same problem. I have a 2000 ssei. I did the data splice repair and have no leaks(the car doesn't get parked outside-I did rip the carpet out to check.) but still have no control of rear driver and passenger windows or locks from main control or individual doors.
