Is there anything i can do to say if the intake manifold is the culprit upper and or lower..

Re: Evap Vent Solenoid Error Code P0449
i still don't have this resolved.
since all this, i have bought a new purge valve for up front on the motor and a new gas cap as well as cleaned the filler neck of anything possible being on it.
car still throws the PO449 code and comes up with "check gas cap" message.

Re: Evap Vent Solenoid Error Code P0449
thanks for the quick replies, i will get the valve under the rear of the car then.. it only threw this code after the water issue, so i was thinking it would be the rear under the car just due to being under water most likely.

Re: Temperature Reading
before i go draining, why is it so bad to run dex cool? i mean, if it is what they provided and spec'd by manufacturer, what is the benefits of dropping it? just curious.

Re: 2000 SLE Won't Start
i haven't had a no start situation on this for a few days now. took in to dealer to have them check things over, they said they didn't see anything in the computer or such that would indicate a problem to cause the no start.
