Re: Rear Air Shock Hose Repai/Replace?
I checked the sensor today and it was connected. I hit it with wd-40 to loosen it up, but I pulled the fuse to the pump because the rear end just keeps going higher and the pressures appear to be WAY too high. Anything else I can check?

Re: Rear Air Shock Hose Repai/Replace?
I'll try to check ASAP, but when I took a reading at the valve it was reading 90psi. Will that hurt anything? The car rides great but it looks like a NHRA car.

Re: Rear Air Shock Hose Repai/Replace?
Went to do the repair yesterday....turns out I didn't need the kit. It was a bad o ring at the pump connection to the hose.
Now here's the funny thing.....I hooked it up, I get pressure and I can finally pump up a basketball out of he trunk, cool....but the rear end is WAY high. I then deflated the ...

Re: Got some new tires for the Bonne!!!
I have the Goodyear Triple Tread Assurances and love them. they are a little noisy at times, but in the rain and snow they are the best I have ever had. I have 15k on them and they still run good. They were expensive for a set, but wow. only tires I had that were better were the Michelins that came ...

Rear Air Shock Hose Repai/Replace?
Guys,
I tried to do a quick search, but I wasn't able to find anything on this and I also tried to go on GM Parts Direct as well.....
I was having the car in for State Inspection today and the air hose at the compressor is leaking. I was quoted a price of $225 to replace and install a new hose to ...

Re: Stabilitrak problem
Last time I was at the dealer I took the tech out for a run. He had the tech 2 hooked up and was reading the wheel speed sensors. We started to do figure 8's and when it activated, it went nuts. It would activate on anything, but I had to get it once. It was calm until that 1st activation then oh ...

Re: Stabilitrak problem
Guys, I got an update.....
I replaced the SWPS AGAIN......at the dealer and he calibrated it. It cleared up like 90% of the problems, but I am still getting low speed activations typically when the wheel is turned over half way one side or the other.
Any other ideas? I already spent like 500 bucks ...

Re: Stabilitrak problem
The 1241 was for the steering. I believe it was a chassis code. The code was the same number on 2 different dates so I don't think that they transposed the numbers, although it is always possible.
They reprogrammed the Ebcm, so I am assuming that if it was bad, it wouldn't have taken the reprogram ...

Re: Stabilitrak problem
sitting at the dealer now....they found DTC 1241 but the tech said that that shouldn't trigger the stability control.
we took it for a 20 minute ride and all the sensors were reporting correctly, but the system will still activate. I did tell him about the EBCM that was replaced with a used one ...

Re: Hissing from rear of car
It was told to me that it sounds like I have a leak in the tire, but the tire is brand new. It is like what you hear out of a can of air, but a little slower.

Hissing from rear of car
Ok, 2nd problem this week.....
Is it normal to hear a hissing from the pass side rear when the car just turns off? The shocks are about a year old. I was thinking something came loose, but I wanted ideas before I started ripping this apart and fixing something I don't need to fix like I did with ...

FYI...I'll be taking it to a dealer this week. I'll let you know the outcome. I am asking around for a recommended dealer who won't take advantage of the situation.

Re: Stabilitrak problem
Thanks for the help....funny thing about this, it activates going forward, but when going in reverse it doesn't activate. I guess I will have to bite the bullet on this one. It just ticks me off that I replaced the sensor, went through hell for it ( Haro's write up is good but working under the dash ...

Stabilitrak problem
Guys,
I replaced the SWPS today hoping it would fix my problem of low speed activation of the front brakes when making turns. Well, it didn't.
I am frustrated beyond belief. Does anyone else have any other ideas I can try to fix this? If I don't I might get killed making a left turn across traffic ...

Stability control kicking in too much
Hey,
When making hard turns from a stop either right or left, the brakes kick in and the stability system active appears in the DIC. It is not consistent, but it usually happens at low speeds and when I need to cut across traffic.....
Any idea if it is a steering wheel position sensor starting to ...

Adding a power port
Has anyone added a new power port for a sat radio or anything like that? I mounted my sat radio on the dash and would like to add a second power port under the pass side of the dash so I can hide the wire for it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!!!!!!
