Re: what the hell just happened to my tranny????

Sounds to me like the OP needs to get under the car and inspect for the location of the leak before any further guesses or discussions of possibilities.

Re: How much boost does a stock M62 Gen III make?

If the BCA and BCS are working properly, and you don't have belt slip, it's physically impossible to have too little boost. It's not possible for a supercharger in our application to physically under-boost by itself. The only possibility is boost CONTROL. That comes down to the BCA function ...

Re: Car runs great, when it runs...possible security system

Dielectric grease won't 'fry' anything. VATS won't allow the car to even crank. There are two ground busses. Did you check them on both sides of the car?

Re: How much boost does a stock M62 Gen III make?

Moving to the proper section.

There are some possible questions related to the fact that this is a swap:

1. Is your evap system tied in to the vacuum manifold as it was stock? This would be 'post inlet', not pre-inlet? Any boost indication would only be seen at the vacuum manifold closest to the ...

Re: New 2005 GXP or keep my 00 SSEi

Don't forget that the GXP will be more expensive in terms of fuel due to the poor mileage in comparison to the SSEi. If you are performance-minded, the money put into the SSEi will easily spank the GXP in most performance categories.

Re: Engine Swap Help: 1995 Series II into a 1998

We need some clarification. The Olds 88 did in fact have the L36 engine (with a few little differences) in 1995, but the LSS had the Series 2 (Gen3) L67 supercharged engine as an option, and a good many were built that way in LSS trim.

So which one do you have?

As stated above, the transmission ...

Re: i need another pcm, what years would work ? i forgot alr

Look under the eprom for water damage. Fix your firewall with sheet metal, rivets, and sealant. That's a very critical safety device, not to mention structural. If my firewall was as you describe, I wouldn't let my wife drive the car or let my kids ride in it.

Bad grounds can cause PCM confusion ...

Book the car out with your zip code. Markets vary. We can't tell you what the car is worth. The link above will.

Re: i need another pcm, what years would work ? i forgot alr

I'm running the factory PCM and eprom in my 95 and have never had a problem. I've never known another member to need more than one replacement. Common sense dictates you have a deeper problem. Grounds, electrical problems wreaking havoc on the PCM, over charging or under charging, etc.

Your PCM ...

I'm going to re-post something I said earlier to drive the point home:

I hope you re-think your plans with your system, and if you don't, I hope you don't find a 600-amp solution, or even the 300-amp solution your system actually needs. Why? I have significant hearing loss due to my time in the ...

1994 or 1995 ONLY. And if your car is eating that many PCM's, you have a deeper problem.

Re: Help with Dual alternator kit

Then you have either a bad alternator, battery, or both. The demands you listed are not enough to overcome a 300 amp alternator. My 160 amp could drive that list with no problem.

Re: nozzle next to trunk

Some models of Bonneville have had this since 1992. I assume you don't have an owner's manual? You should make it a priority to get one.
