Thanks Will,
They buy the mounts from NAPA. They are the most expensive mounts but I am unsure of the brand or if they are O.E.M.
22,000 miles ago the trans failed. When they took down the trans all the mounts were old and needed to be replaced. They also said that when they dropped the cradle the ...

Ok, this link is great because Will has some really crucial info on how to mod the mount......

Re: Motor mounts
OK, I am revisiting this.
I am going to need to do this after all.
I keep busting ALL the motor mounts.
I break the front mount first, then the rear mount breaks, and then the side mounts go.
Where can I get the all thread with a ton of strength?

I know now. LOL
I really thought it was the diameter of the puffy part until I got the other seals. Then it was obvious what the leak was. My bad!

Re: 94 ignition coils
Killer update! Since I have owned this car gas mileage has been a consideration cuz I drive alot! I also drive heavy on the petal. On average, when I got the car Bone stock at 150,000 miles I did a tune up and changed the o2 sensor. Gas mileage averaged 18mpg. Then I did the mods to the intake, the ...

Re: Weather Seals for 94 Bonneville?
Andrew, the seal you sent was OK, it wasn't really the puffy part that was the problem.
The new seal (OUCH!) was a little more puffy, but what was dramatically different was the diameter of the pinch seal that connects to the metal. In both my original seal and the seal you sent, the narrow strip of ...

Re: Weather Seals for 94 Bonneville?
Got a used seal from Andrew today. Unfortunately it leaked more than the original. A lot more. LOL
It looks like I am going to have to buy the new one.
I will let you know how the new seal does.
The good news is I got the back seat area dry finally. I used a wet vac a sucked up about 3gallons of ...

Got the parts today!harofreak00 wrote:why buy new? I have several sets of the newer coils, I could just throw them in with your other stuff. $10/each.
The coil packs worked great! I am back in the saddle and the front tires are back to screaming down the road again!
Awesome! You saved me a ton of money!

Re: 94 ignition coils
Ok NAPA has 2 aftermarket brands and then the delphi that are supposed to be the OEM.
Should I just go with the OEM?
Is there a different part number for Series 1 and Series 2?

94 ignition coils
OK, I got OEM original ignition coils at 205,000+ miles.
They have been cutting ou in foggy weather and under heavy load.
My question is should I get some Accell coils or get some OEM's?
BTW, does anyone have part numbers for both?
Thanks

Re: Weather Seals for 94 Bonneville?
The seals have shrunk, and there is a gap but it is at the bottom and has no affect on the leak.
The leaks seems to be because the seals are not fat enough or puffy enough to make a good seal against the rubber on the door. The water at the top of the door seeps in and runs down the rear sail panel ...

Weather Seals for 94 Bonneville?
Hi guys,
my 94 Bonneville is leaking pretty bad through the right rear door.
At first I thought that I just needed to pull the weatherstrip off the body and then push it back on again tightly.
I did this and ran a water hose over the door and it still leaked. The water runs under the seat back ...

92 air pump on 94?
Will a 92 rear air compressor work on a 94 bonneville?
Both cars are SSEi.
Both pumps are on the L/S fender.
I am concerned about the mounting and wiring.
Please LMK.
Thanks
Rich

Re: Deleting front electronic struts
Checking again, is it advantageous to drop the air shocks and go non-air in the rear?
That would save me from buying a pump. Or is that a bad idea?
dpcookson~you have PM.

Re: Deleting front electronic struts
but what about dumping the air ride all together and just using HD struts and new coil springs back there?
dpcookson, how much for the pump and is it the same as the 94? Will it plug in and mount up?

Update:
Car pulls to left~Rack and pinion is cause of problem. Wheel alignment was good. Will fix later.
Noise if front end~Cradle bushings are worn and cradle is moving on hard starts and stops. Will replace all 12 bushings(yellow paint) next week.
Rear shocks~Compressor is fried! no aftermarket ...

Re: Deleting front electronic struts
Yeah, I could not find a quick strut with the HD coil springs listed.
It would of cost more to build it in pieces.
The good news is that it drove way better than ever before with the whole front end rebuilt.
The bad news is I took the car back to the wrench today because after $5,000 I am not ...
