Called few places today. One junk yard wanted $450 for tranny, the other $350.
I will have to lift it up again to be sure and talk to guy about swapping cost.
If it more than $650 together I will part out with this car so keep in mind folks who may want to fix it or have parts.
I also have spare ...

Re: Transmission problems.
Yeah but depending how far and long you drove it low or with no fluid your tranny might be ready to take a crap anyways
I've spotted it very fast. I was in a city traffic and it just started slipping after turn or stop so I just jumped out of the car ,got five bottles of fluid and kept adding it ...

Transmission problems.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
To make long story short, transmission is dead. It cracked pretty bad and all fluid is out in two miles drive.
I used five bottles to get me home from work being gently on the gas pedal, otherwise it could fell apart.
My question is what's the reasonable price for ...

Re: Info about air-mix acuator
As previous poster said you can use redneck fix for a while.
When my actuator failed I was using that cheap fix for a while .
Later decided to fix it myself.
It was great pain in the neck to remove it and even bigger to install. But I did it.
I didn't even put new actuator ,just fixed plastic gear ...

Re: Idler pulley.
The aluminum spacer goes between. It's about 2.5" in diameter or so, and about 1/2" thick.
If you post that you still have confusion by the time I get home, I can pull those off the Zilla and lay them out in order for a pic later.

Re: Idler pulley.
Not exactly sure what you're asking for here. Sorry if I seem thick.
At first it seems that you are asking how to properly mount each pulley, then I wondered if you were looking for the belt sequence.
Now it seems that you are wanting actual replacement parts.
If you'll clear this up, I'm sure ...

Fuel pump replacement
I'm in a need to replace fuel pupm. Fuel pressure is lower than it should be.
The question is do I need to replace only pump or the sending unit should be replaced too assuming there is no corrosion and the old sender still in decent shape?
What's reasonable cost to pay mechanic to do this job ? I ...

Re: Supercharger rattling bad
If a nosedrive is driven too long on bad bearings before the bearings are replaced, it will happen more often.
You don't need a whole supercharger. Just a nosedrive. Replace the bearings before you use it. Nosedrive bearing failure is not common, nor is it caused by external forces like the belt ...

Well, this is nosedrive bearing after all went bad.
Same story as it happened six months ago.Exactly the same. The only question is why?
Is it something out of ballance like pulley or belt tensioner or something else affect it or is it just bad luck.

Re: Supercharger rattling bad
It's not only at idle.I already have experience with it. With adding RPM it gets louder.
The pulley isn't loose.
There is allmost no 'play" when rotating back and forth and there is no loose when trying to pull/push pulley.
It's 99.99% rotor bearings. It's just my opinion of course. I recall now ...

Supercharger rattling bad
My SC started rattling very bad .
It's not coupler. I changed nosedrive back in March and evrything is fine with coupler.
The sound comes from rotors and every day it gets louder.
The question is can something from supercharger damage engine if I keep driving with it for a while?
Anybody with SC ...
