Re: Rear end Sway/ front end shimmy.

Happy to report after RE- balancing front tires and rear tires, the "OLEBONNEVILLE" is running like a champ. I'm kinda afraid to say that as something else might happen.
Balancing took 99.999% of the shimmy away. Also put new rotors and pads on today.
KarKar good except for rust by gas tank. That's ...

Re: Rear end Sway

Well folks,
This Mon. was a good day!
Went to mechanic friend, checked out rearend, found not a slightly leaking shock ,but "SHOT" shocks.
Also looked at swaybar links.
Got parts(those ma822 airs, moogshock mounts, and the links) y'al suggested. Installed them. Took road test, "AMAZIN"!! Would say ...

Re: Rear end Sway

Spoke with my mechanic bud, Mon will chk out rear end. He's guessing sway bushing, or a bushing of some sort. If shocks, have already contacted supplier bud to get them quick.
Will keep y'al posted.

Re: Rear end Sway

My assumption is that they are in the front & I'd have been told about them being bad if they were.
Are there sway bars in the rear that could be causing this issue? Possibly Trans mounts or motor mounts in front???

Had tire rotation and balance, asked to align front and rear. Was told rear needed shim kit to bing it in. $16.00 each side, not bad ,2 hrs work $70.00 an hour, that's bad.
Went second location, told my problem would not be solved with a rear alignment and I'm within specs.
PROBLEM ...

Passenger automatic sideveiw mirror

Is there anyone with experience with a spastic pwr mirror?
Seems when 1st start Bonne, put it in reverse, mirror begins to move out of position. Then when put into drive it returns to set position.
Now What???
Have just about rebuilt parts of Bonne in past Month & 1/2.
