Not sure how long he was stepping on the switch. My wife looking back when she heard him thrashing and whining.
He was stuck, but luckily managed to do it on some "hard parts" so she was able to turn him to sneak his head out.
I do not know on the voltage drop.

Re: Rear Passenger Window; Is there a fuse?
No window movement either up nor down. Checked using the driver's switch and the rear passenger door switch with lockout on and off. No motor sounds at all.
The other three windows all work correctly.

Rear Passenger Window; Is there a fuse?
Greetings,
So this morning while driving, one of my dogs tried to kill himself by putting his head out the rear passenger window and stepping on the switch.
Brilliant.
Apparently the "lockout" feature should be used for dogs also. Lesson noted.
The window is now not going back up, and is also ...

Ride Height Load Leveling Sensor
So...
My 2001 SSEi currently has the jacked up rear end thing going on.
From what I have gathered, since it will not go down, the problem is likely the leveling sensor has finally gone bad.
Before I replace it, are there any ways to get it to drop the rear again? I have let the air out of the ...

dz09x,
Thanks for the part number info. I was just in the process of getting ready to do this and you saved me from the same pain of trying to figure out what works.
Happy trails,
Keith

Re: Hockey Puck Mount Done...Sweet.
I was wondering about the bushing longevity, and about the type of puck to use. I used the regular black pucks and noticed that when tightened, the washer set is pushing into them a bit. Maybe after a year or so, I'll replace them with the harder, heavier weight orange practice pucks and see how ...

Hockey Puck Mount Done...Sweet.
I finally got around to doing the hockey puck mount and the difference in shift smoothness is amazing.
There is a bit of additional vibration in the 1500-1800 rpm range, but the net result is phenomenal. Where the transmission had been clunking into gear, now it just softly clicks. I had to keep ...

Greetings,
So, I installed a new turn signal multiswitch assembly and the cruise is working again. Yea.
But when I pulled the old switch out the one connector was not plugged in, and so the current connector is not plugged in either.
Should it be? And if so, to what, as I did not see anything ...

High beams and cruise control not working
Greetings!
So...
As indicated, my high beams are no longer working. When the switch is activated, the high beam dash light goes on, but the lights themselves do not activate. This is a new development.
Activating the cruise control has been getting more difficult over the past few months, and now ...

I hope so. The car has a definite clunk when shifting into reverse especially.

Hockey Puck Mount/ Bushing Question
Greetings,
I am looking to do the hockey puck mount and have most of the parts together, but am not sure about the bushing to be placed between two washers under the frame. Is there a bushing already used and in place on the original mount that may be reused, or should I just go buy a new one ...

My apologies, but I suffered a bad case of poor typing with the idle speed: it's plus 100 on the speed. After it warmed up, it settled into the 1600-1700, if it came down from the higher numbers.

Well, the engine is back together and running. Yeah!

You are probably aware, but the Bill Buttermore article about changing the LIM gaskets worked me through the whole process.
