What sort of coolant have you been running/ is in the motor? Did you check your oil level and what it looks like? Is your coolant a thick milkshake or is it just dark and brown.
If its straight liquid, its usually cause of stupid dexicol and someone running water instead of coolant. Your more than ...

Re: Top Speed Attempt
Use some sort of recordable, high end, GPS verification like Dragy if you want something widely accepted as accurate.

Re: The cursed yet effect budget turbo intake
There is always a power gain when going to a turbo because it takes 30 horsepower to spin the old M90.

Square? I would find another shop. Oval has a noticeable decrease in flow from round and square would be worse.
Ill deft check out clearance issues then beforehand. If it is possible without drawbacks (Besides no ac), then it could be sorta cool, and the sound would be interesting, plus decrease ...

Re: Yella-Terra 1.8 roller rocker arms for 2003 SSEi
Well I was unable to get the headers. Can I be pointed in the right direction as to where I can get a decent pair? Or can I run the rockers with a smaller pulley and be okay?
I would get headers or at least ZZP front power log. I had kept the stock power log on when i had top swapped, and it was ...

Making this for us that want to replicate what that Bonneville did back in the earily 2000s.

Clearing the oil pan, unless it's below the subframe is something I would have to see a pic of. I can't see that working.

Re: The cursed yet effect budget turbo intake
F-body upper and lower intakes have been done quite a bit in the past. I helped turbo a Regal back in '08 and my buddy went this route. There are 2 versions of the upper intake, the earlier version points the TB forward and the later version shown in that video doesn't angle the TB. The thermostat ...

Re: Yella-Terra 1.8 roller rocker arms for 2003 SSEi
I got lucky and found a set of these at a local wrecking yard. I got the pushrods as well. They were on a 2003 Buick regal GS. it also has a header set on it and I am wondering if I should get it along with the rockers. The nose of the SC was taken off, likely because the pulley was undersized and ...

Re: Headers 2000 SSEi
Even if you removed the AC compressor and/or got a smaller starter to make that work, the oil pan is in the way. I don't remember ever seeing this in the past 20 years. Japanese cars do this all the time but the starter is in a different location and the oil pan has a hump to support it.

Hear me out.
So I was messing around with a F body 3.8 I have, and a decomissioned GTP, and discovered its possible for the F-Body style intakes to bolt on, if you extend a bunch of hoses and what so. But there was no room in those W bodys. Heres where it gets...brainstorming wise.

Re: East Coast Bonnevilles, where you guys at?
There used to be one or more east coast Bonneville forums with the north east one being the most active. I've made it as far south as VA Beach in my '95 about 15 years ago. I still own it and hope to get it back on the road in the next year.

Re: Headers 2000 SSEi
Has anyone ever seen a set of headers that instead of wrapping around the block and ontop of the trans to meet the other side, it instead goes directly down and underneath the engine? I had seen a picture awhile back of a bonneville with this setup, and im tempted.
