I have about 5,000 miles on the Conti DWS and am happy with them.
They cost 198/188 F/R, stock size front and rear is the size you're talking about here, 235.50.18 since they don't make a 225.50.18. Yet.
Total was $919 installed with lifetime balance at the local Discount Tire.

Re: do you top-off your gas tank?
First click
My GP will just go one click after filling. It's not much. I do it for consistency in calculating MPG. And for getting all I can in it.
The KIA will take another gallon or so, at 30+ MPG that's a real difference.
I recently rented a Charger SXT 3.5. I filled up, took a 40 mile trip ...

I know people who spray the undercarriage (minus hot parts) with used motor oil or some other oily stuff.

Re: Changing Final Drive: Major Bucks?
Yeah more than most of the time the 3.05 was part of the Grand Touring package, and it does make a difference..
The diff can be changed, but you may need a different passenger side Axle, I am not 100%, not sure if the axles are the same for both 2.85 and 3.05
You would also need your PCM ...

Re: Changing Final Drive: Major Bucks?
No, I am looking at a potential vehicle. It appears the only last-gen LeSabre that had 3.05 are those equipped with Gran Touring package. Those are pretty rare.
From what I've read, the 3.05 makes a significant difference in acceleration.

Changing Final Drive: Major Bucks?
So is it major surgery to swap the LeSabre final drive from 2.81 (IIRC) to 3.05?
Thanking all,

Re: My Car, an American Flag, and a BIG Gun
Nice. Made me want to play The Star Spangled Banner.
Need to get a few privates out there with some sandpaper and steel wool, scrub out that rust on the gun.

Re: 18" GXP Wheels Fit?
Which 18" GXP rims, Bonneville or Grand Prix. 18x8 and 235/50R18 are not a good match in my mind, but if your talking 18x7 then they are a good fit. I have Grand Prix 18x8 on my 01 Bonneville, with no problems. See post http://pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=19733

18" GXP Wheels Fit?
Will the 18" GXP wheels fit non-GXP and LeSabre wheelwells? I'm thinking the 235x50x18 tires. Thanks, all.

GP New Here
Howdy all. I have a GP, and was looking around for G body information and found you. Nice site.
I was looking for LeSabre info, this looks like I could find good general info here.
