Re: Look what I got for free!!

I have had mustang rims on the bonnie for a year now 0 problems. The grand prix has had them on for over 2 zero problems. I have a set of rings I just never put them on. I mean the difference for each stud individually is .014mm. I just don't see that causing a problem as ong as studs are not ...

Re: Which wires do I get?

I have had beldins break after the first use. Taylor wires are better than beldins I think. Get the newer version for the 98 because they have probably adjusted lengths. Lots of people use taylors for the GP and Regal. ZZP and PRJ wires are both taylors, and they are used by many people. A few ...

Re: when will more timing pay off?

I always hear you want to up your timing before you up your boost. The faster you spin that m90 the less efficient it becomes. However, the best way would be to take it to the track and try it both ways see which nets you a better time.

Re: hmm, rocker time

Like I said if the lift on the cam is lowered you can use 1.9s with a cam No problem because the effective lift can be the same as an xp or s1x.
contact Paul at http://www.prjperformance.com great guy and will will do the custom low lift cam at pretty much the same price as zzp or intense.
Also, why ...

Re: Would you do a cam or rockers:

rockers are cheaper in the long run especially if you find them used and are much easier to install
cam makes more power but is harder to install and a bit more expensive
btw if you get 1.8 rocker you can upgrade to a cam later on and keep your rockers and you really don't need a tune for rockers ...

Re: thank you indiana state police.

I'm not "bashing" any police officers individually more so I am "bashing" the state police department as a whole. I respect the work officers of the law do and am in no way demeaning them. They are just doing their job. However, I do have a problem with the whole way the ticket system works. Any ...

Re: thank you indiana state police.

Ever since about September of the year the state police have been everywhere. I got hit for going 70 on 465 a few months ago. Its completely for revenue generation how often do I see or hear about crashes along the stretches of road they sit on every day? Almost never barring icy conditions

Re: L26 top swap on the SLE - 56Ks welcome

I'm not saying that just the UIM gave insane performance. All three mods as a whole however gave the car a much better feel even without a tune. It wasn't "insane" but the butt dyno tells me it pulls significantly harder and more evenly. I'm sure it will be even better when we get the correct MAF ...

Re: L26 top swap on the SLE - 56Ks welcome

I would think just in terms of flow an oval would be bad. The L26 is a circle that slightly tapers but that would step up the velocity just before it enters the UIM I would think. Even if the l36 intake has a bigger overall opening the shape needs to be taken into consideration as well

Re: L26 top swap on the SLE - 56Ks welcome

We did do a ported lim and L67 tb at the same time. It definitely pulled a lot harder than before. How much of that was related to the UIM or l67 tb? I don't know. However, it looks a hell of a lot nicer than a black piece of plastic and for sure felt a ton sturdier. We did find a crack and warpage ...
