ok so i thought i was reading somewheres that when we (bonneville owners) go to put headers on our cars we needf to get grand prix tranhs dipstick ... i am no longer able to find the post so i will post it here ... is that tru?... if it is a know where i can get one for 34$ shipped is that a decent ...

ok so im wounering whern a person adds headers high flow cat and a 80 series muffler should the exhaust tubing be changed aswell or would factory tubing work ?

Where the nosedrive (nosedrive is the cone where the pulley comes out on the s/c) meets the casing, towards the front of the motor, there will be a round, 5/8" or so plug that has an allen spot in it that you turn out with an allen wrench (hex). The oil should be to the bottom of the threads. GM ...

if been lookin on here and i can seem to find this ... but how do u check the sc oil how often should it be check and what is a safe lvl for it to be at?

its not loosing any coolent tho ...and we could only smell it from the inside of the car ... it turned out there is a small leak in the heather core that is cause the smell ...it comes and gose

dont know ... guss it was some bolts when they were trying to fix stuff on the bonevile ...y u ask ?

and she lives ... she was at the shop frfom 10 am til 405 pm today cost me 170 and that was for labour 6 plugs and some bolts .. come to find out the maf was messed .. well it is fixed temparail ... i never knew this is the power bonnies have got ...its like i got a whole new car ...

how long would this take then to do it ... could a person without a shop with decent weather do this by them self in a day or would it be a weekend project

ok so lets all guss what could be causing all of the following with my 1999 bonneville ssei shall we
1 wile driving and go to pass (wot) car stalls
2 now wile giving the car normal gas to get up to 30 mph the car stalls
3 there is more smoke then usal comming from the exhaust
4 the smoke from ...

so the other day i was commin home from school and went to pass a 18 wheeler when the car started to spit and spudder and started to vibrate short... so i slowed down though it was strang didnt notice it any more ..then i thought about it and what coulda coaused it so i eased the throtle down to see ...
