Re: New toy, G37x
It brings back the days when I had a skyline, while I was stationed in Japan.

Did any on the 05 SLE's come with HUD? All the ones I have found don't have it.

I was running 11.1 at WOT, before my last tune. Now it's 12.0 or so.

Re: Front Sway Bar Replacement
We had to drop the sub frame when we did mine. Even then it did not just slip in. But we did not mess with the exhaust.

Re: Clunk from the front end (right side)
I took it for a drive, and 90% of the noises are gone. I think I am down to a broken HUD mount (that is on the back burner).
I believe the strut mount took care of the "clunk" and the sway bar brace took care of the rattle.

Re: Clunk from the front end (right side)
Just checked the hood for marks for the strut tower brace. It was hitting very slightly on both sides, but harder on the right. Bent the brace down slightly and will take it for a test drive later. Not saying that this is it, but for others you might want to check yours.

Re: Clunk from the front end (right side)
I'm getting what sounds like the exact same think. It does it most over small, quick unevenness of the pavement, right? We have the same springs and struts. I'm starting to suspect the struts. Nothing in my front end is loose but I have a horrible clunk/click noise. Mostly on the left, also on the ...

Clunk from the front end (right side)
I've got a intermittent "clink" from the front right. It sounds and feels like something in the suspension. Last fall we changed the lower a arm, struts (new GXP), strut mounts, GXP strut tower brace, lowering springs (form Coil Spring Specialties), FE5 sway bars, new sway bar bushings (the ...

Mine is start just fine at -15, might take a little extra but no issues.
Think it's time to save up for a new battery.

I will not brake it down, but I've got over 5 times what I paid for the car itself into it (not including the original cost of the car). But it worth every penny to me.

As far as I have found (and I've looked a lot), Custom is the only option.
