Mines optioned exactly the same way but it isn't an L32. I'd would have thought you would have at least have the Monsoon package in that. Does your DIC have the g-meter in it?
(And personally, I think having the engine hours meter was a freaking waste of space in there)
Yeah I'd rather have ...

2006 Grand Prix GT
Yep, It's an 06, and almost fully loaded. The only big things it's missing that I'd like are a sunroof and HUD, but it was between this one and a base model with almost nothing, this one won.
It's sharp, it's clean, and it's fast..so I'm pretty happy. The only noticeable things wrong are the lumbar ...

06 GP GT
I upgraded my ride to a 2006 Grand Prix GT today, first supercharged car and I'm pretty impressed. The thing is, I haven't the first clue as to the care and maintenance of a supercharger, and I really don't want to ruin it.

Re: Oil Leak
It's definitely oil that's leaking, not trans fluid...I appreciate the help!
Oil Leak
I'm pretty much in the dark about this one guys. I haven't been around in a while, but at the same time I haven't driven my car but maybe 1000 miles in the last 4 months due to having a take-home work truck.
I discovered a puddle of oil last night under my car...the puddle is toward the passenger ...

High Fuel Tank Pressure?
Last night I experienced what sounds like my gas tank expanding, making metal "popping" noises. I stopped to fill up and upon unscrewing the gas cap, there was an absurd amount of pressure that was relieved. It hissed for a good 2-3 seconds, which it's never done before.

Re: 180* Thermostat Observations
the 180' t-stat is something I'll probably be doing soon, so this is good info to know...
however, i have no idea how to to the override...is there a write up somewhere?

Vacuum Line Connectors
Hey, it looks like almost all of my vacuum line connectors are splitting or split...I temporarily patched them up with tape, and there's no leaks, but I need to know where to get replacements. I checked out Autozone and O'Reilly and didn't really see what I was needing.

Re: Misfire?
While I'm STILL waiting for the money to show up to get it fixed...I poked my head under the hood yesterday (temp gauge was climbing and I wanted to ensure it was the extreme heat and not lack of coolant) and I noticed that I could very clearly hear the injectors...I've never heard them with such ...

Blower motor...or....?
I'd like to diagnose this problem without removing my dashboard if possible. It's not fun to sit and work in a car in 95+ degree heat.
A/C on Max, blower on high, for a while it's nice and quiet...but then it starts making a noise. The noise is similar to maybe a card in bike spokes...like ...

Re: Misfire?
I don't know how old the O2 sensors are...I've never replaced them, so hard to tell really.
I'm considering doing the coolant flush myself, but I don't have the means to do the trans. work myself.

Re: Misfire?
Well, after worrying about where the money will come from, I bit the bullet and applied for a line of credit through the credit union I have the car loan through. I'll have a $1000 card coming my way soon. In the meantime, I'm making a list...because I'm doing a once-over and repairing and replacing ...
Re: Misfire?
Yeah, that was the plan. I'd really rather use an AC Delco, but that's wayyyy too expensive...and I've read other threads here where people used the cheaper one @ rockauto.com, so that's what I'll probably do. It's the pump/sending unit for $120 (which is great, because then my gas gauge will ...
Re: Misfire?
If it were my car, at this point, I would install a new pump.
Ok...that's what I was afraid of. I appreciate all the help everyone has given me...now here's the fun part.
I'd rather do this myself...is there a step-by-step in the Chilton's manual? I don't have one yet (shame on me). Basically I ...

Re: Misfire?
Should increase when FPR vacuum line is disconnected.
So why didn't mine? There was no evidence of gas when the vacuum was removed from the FPR, but the gauge didn't move when I took it off...
I was really hoping it wasn't my pump...all of my under-body (including the fuel lines) are rusted ...
Re: Misfire?
Fuel pressure readings:
Prime x3: 9 psi
Idle: 26 psi
(I was in a bit of a rush when I did this...today I'm going to hook it back up and watch the gauge for about an hour after I shut it off, since most of my problems come when it's been off for about 30-45 minutes)
I don't know the specs yet, but ...
