06 GP GT

Talk about the other 3800 powered GM cars, particularly for items not covered in other sections that may be unique to your year/model, and differ from a Bonneville.

06 GP GT

Post by CJCroel »

I upgraded my ride to a 2006 Grand Prix GT today, first supercharged car and I'm pretty impressed. The thing is, I haven't the first clue as to the care and maintenance of a supercharger, and I really don't want to ruin it.

I know the obvious to run premium fuel, but as far as everything else I'm clueless, such as supercharger oil, spark plugs, etc.

Any advice and info you can give me will help a bunch!

Change the s/c oil and you're golden. Willwren's site has a good how-to.

All the stuff on our Maintenance list applies to your car too, so update that and drive it like you stole it.
