Hi all,
I've tried searching on here, but web searches look at me like I'm stupid when I input anything series 1. First I'll tell you what I'm planning and maybe yall could point me in the proper direction.
I'm planning on ordering headers for a series1, hack the flanges off and make my own flanges ...

Helping friend with EGR woes.
Hi guys, I'm. Helping my friend replace a simple EGR tube. The patient is a 1992 Bonneville ssei, series 1, m62 SC, all-that-jazz.
We both were unsure of something and thought id bring it to chat.

Re: Immediate help required before I check-in to asylum
Well guys, I'm bald but i have the line routing figured out. This model i have had been a nightmare in the way of finding parts. Seems like it is a mashup of 94&95 year parts; and now I am at the juncture where i need to decide to switch to an OBD2 COM or try to deal with the current, and totally ...

Re: Immediate help required before I check-in to asylum
Ok I had her to where i felt confident to do first fire up. Grandpa taught me to keep stopwatch at this point of rebuild an after giving it 2 full spark-free rotations to lube her up good, I kicked it over. 24 sec into a shaky idle, both manifolds were red hot. So hot the 2000 degree header paint ...

Re: Immediate help required before I check-in to asylum
It does help some. Sorry took so long to get back, been salvaging some useable lines and such off of my jeep. After my phone charges up a little I'm going to send a picture of my evap canister and maybe you can tell me where this line is supposed to go. Underneath the port for the line on top of the ...

Immediate help required before I check-in to asylum
Hi guys, im seriously considering a strongly worded, profanity laden letter to gm about the lack of resources out there regarding all things Series-1. The next step would have to be tracking down the 'genius minds' of the engineers just to get in a satisfactory punch in the face. Really though, I ...

Re: Some pics of my 95 SLE (5/12 Update)
nice ride I have a 95 SSEi black on black. I am seriously considering just giving it away parking it in the yard with a free sign on it. I'm having trouble routing all of the vacuum lines, and I mean every single one from the canister to the throttle body stuff up on the supercharger and back to the ...

Re: The long awaited arrival of the one and only BonnSSEI_La
Again guys, thanks for the advice. Most recently i purchased an 03 SSEi from a fellow for just a couple hundred bucks. Was hoping the issue he had with a loud knock was either the sc coupling or harmonic balancer. Now that i have the sc belt off, the knock is VERY loud. Im afraid the motor is trash ...

Re: The long awaited arrival of the one and only BonnSSEI_La
Thank you For the input. I am hopinv that it is not the SC. Cannot pinpoint with stethoscope, but i heatsoaked the engine and took the handle end of a breaker bar to the different pulleys to see if any had movement. There was an issue with one of the tensioner pulleys where it felt like the bearing ...

Hello Fellow enthusiasts,
Me here, you there; just where we put ourselves.
Wanted to give an intro. The wifey and I were handed down a black on black, fully loaded demon of a car; a 1995 Bonnie SSEi sitting at 37,000 original miles, from my Aunt-in-law, prior personal assistant of one Ross Perot ...
