Got a replacement rear door module from Andrew at BonnevillesUnlimited and installed it tonight.
That fixed the rear window, power lock & courtesy light.
No more dead battery issues since unplugging the OnStar module, so all is well for now!

Re: Dead rear window & lock from Rear door module?
Note: not sure if this is a contributing cause of my electrical issues, but last night I unplugged the OnStar module in the trunk behind the rear seat back.
I haven't used OnStar in my 17 years of Bonneville ownership and I'm not real fond of its gps tracking my every move.

Dead rear window & lock from Rear door module?
A few days ago I noticed the drivers side rear window wouldn’t go down using the switch on the drivers door or the rear door. The other three windows worked normally. Assumed it was a dead motor I’d deal with later.
This morning I went to start the car and it was completely dead. I jump started it ...

Voltmeter drops to zero then comes back?
2001 SLE, 95k miles, original alternator, 1.5 year old battery with clean tight connections, no check engine lights, no codes.
Started up as usual after sitting all day in 95° work parking lot, A/C & fan on of course.
After driving maybe two minutes the engine hesitated and faltered, dash lights ...

Andrew-
Your posts, all nicely documented with photos, are inspirational! Keep up the good work.
One of these days I'll use your method to fix my broken heated drivers seat (not that it's very useful here in Texas

56k mi.
Headlights are original, like everything else. They're not mint, but the few flaws they have don't show in the low light.

Pics are not up to date, as I now have tinted windows and front plate cover. I'll take some updates someday.

CLEAN!
Is the front bumper cap original or has it been repainted?
Whole car is amazingly clean & straight for 106k!
Bronzemist w/tint, looks like my '01 SLE, 'cept I've got 20-spokes & sunroof.

Castrol dino 10-30 & Wix filter.
A mechanic friend said I should have used an AC Delco replacement sensor instead of the no-name I got from O'Reilly.
I guess I'll try that, but the fact that both sensors are giving me the same reading makes me think they're working. :dontknow:

Re: High Oil Pressure?
Hmmm...
Put in a new oil pressure sender; no change. Changed oil & filter; no change.
Guess I'm just gonna live with it, but I'm puzzled what would cause it to go up???

High Oil Pressure?
Within the last few days my oil pressure gauge has started showing unusually high pressure.
The needle used to always hover around the middle; 40psi, maybe a little lower at warm idle & a little higher (60-70 psi?) at higher rpm.
The needle is NOT PEGGED. But now it starts out around 60-70 psi and ...

Re: Interchangeable Sunroof?
Update-
A few days back I dropped $75 at a local junkyard for a sunroof assembly that seemed to be in decent shape. Got it home, cleaned it up and lubed the tracks so the glass moves back n forth pretty easily.
I'm halfway thru installing it in the car and got to the point where I could test it ...

Re: Interchangeable Sunroof?
It's been several months since I last used the roof, but when I did; I tried closing it, it got about half way and was struggling, I noticed the glass was a little crooked in the frame.
While pressing the button, I pushed it closed by hand.
I briefly pushed the button to open it, but it didn't do ...

I have an '01 SLE with a sunroof that stopped working. :bluetwitch:
