I am pretty sure you always planned on having halogen highs right?

Re: Running rough, SES light, Noise when I give it gas

Car is still over 50 miles away now so I cannot really troubleshoot it.
Thanks for all the responses. I have no experience with any of the things listed so far which sucks.

Do you guys know if the SES code will pinpoint this problem to one or will it be a code that could mean I am having any of ...

Any idea on price to have a shop do it?

Running rough, SES light, Noise when I give it gas

Sold my car to my brother few days ago and of course it seems as if the first major problem happens....

He called me and said car was in idle and it starting shaking badly and when he gave it gas a rattling noise coming from front left.

I go to pick him up (Over 50 miles away) and I am ...

Re: Trunk-Lid Panel w. LED pics.. and some more here & there

No my bro isn't, not yet at least, and prob won't ever be. He isn't really a "car" kinda kid.
I was gonna strip the car and sell it all (headlights, gxp stuff) but he was pretty excited about the things it had so I let him keep it all.
The GP GXP is pretty nice. No pics yet. Bought it from my best ...

Re: Projector retrofit!

There are a few retrofits with only one projector here. It doesn't look bad, I prefer the look of two obviously because of how it makes the headlight so dark and sleek looking. I think either way you go will be sweet. There are literally hundreds to choose from. Check eBay too. My advice is get 4300 ...

Re: Car starts then stalls.

When I got out of work car started and I couldn't re-create problem. Went and got some MAF cleaner. Cleaned MAF and K&N. When I got home last night car started and stalled again three times. I unplugged MAF and started right up. I think I got a bad MAF.
Thanks Will!

Re: Car starts then stalls.

Giving it more gas doesn't change the fuel pressure by much (which is based on manifold vacuum).

The first troubleshooting step in cases like this is to disconnect the MAF sensor and see if the symptoms improve, get worse, or remain the same. Checking fuel pressure for an intermittent problem can ...
