yup thats all there is to it. oh and the same code will flash three times then move on to the next code. when all the codes have been displayed it will flash 12 again

that would be lower intake manifold and upper intake manifold and that would probably mean the gasket need to be replaced or the manifolds need cleaned but not likely unless porting and polishing

ok i'd also look at the idle air control valve. seen these symptoms caused by that.
just a thought

well first comes the 12 code showing that the system is functioning correctly. blink pause blink blink, then the 23,24,25
blink-blink-blink-pause-blink would be the 31 code,
