I see the Four Seasons one is stated for 2000-2005 where as the ACDELCO is 2002-2005. Still waiting to see if anyone has installed the Four Seasons in 2002-2005 models.

Had same problem last year. Was exactly that after checking everything else first. I didn't want to believe it was that. :banghead:

For those who replaced blower motor-Help with which part

Looking at Rock Auto parts for the blower motor. I would like one that is plug and play which I know the AC DELCO is. Anyone get the Four Seasons brand and was this plug and play or does it need to be modified a bit? Let me know which brands were easy install. I might just pull one from a Junker but ...

Cabin Fan do not come on during colder weather

This has been going on for a few years. No fans on any setting. Only does it when it gets cold out. My hunch is that it is connected somehow to when the a/c compressor is "cut" off due to colder temps. This is cutting the fans off. Temp warms up fans work. Anyone know what I could look at that ...

For those that have used these, did you need to align the headlights?

I had same problem, thinking it was MAF but turned out to be a bad spark plug wire. Wires were only 5K old.

Re: Loose connection or bad ground with HVAC?

So now when this happens is the fan still working properly and it is just blowing cold air? If the fan is working fine, the shop manual goes through an 18 step process. The first is to turn off the AC and make sure the AC compressor clutch is not stuck in the engaged position which means the Ac is ...

Re: Loose connection or bad ground with HVAC?

Still no heat. Sometimes out of no where the heat will come on nice and strong. Once you turn off the car and restart no heat, just cold air. This has me stumped. intermittently bad acculator? I'll check those body grounds in the passenger compartment.

Check to see if the fuse blew. I had same problem. I think mine blew due to a faulty rear defroster.

Re: Loose connection or bad ground with HVAC?

I cleaned all the grounds in the trunk, under the back seat and under the hood. All of them looked good but cleaned them anyway. Found fuse 33 under back seat blown. Replaced and HVAC works. I will see later if I get heat as the acculator seems to be stuck before this happened. May be connected to ...

Loose connection or bad ground with HVAC?

Manual HVAC. It seems when ever my daughter hits bumps the HVAC goes crazy. Fans will stop working or start working, blend door stops and starts working and fan position will be stuck and unstuck. Seems to be a loose connection or ground. The inside lighting seems to be affected as well. Where ...

Re: What Would you do? Chevy 3.4

These engines will last if taken care of, our's made it to 400k miles with 3k oil changes (trans didn't, but that's another story) At this point, I would not suspect head gaskets given the LIM gaskets are a known issue. However, if you already have the aluminum framed gaskets then it's more likely ...

No gauge, only a warning light. No indication of any pressure problems. I can see oil flowing through the oil fill.

What Would you do? Chevy 3.4

Seems my 99 Olds Silhouette needs the intake manifold gaskets changed. Starting to see some moisture in the oil and losing a bit of coolant as well. Engine runs well with the usual piston slap. Engine is original with 172K and only work done was the very same gaskets changed at 50K. Van is still in ...

Fuse box was loose. I took box off and put back on. Put 2 new fuses in for good measure, tightened down fuse box and cleaned the positive connections at the fuse box. Running good again! :beerchug:
