Alright so I started the drilling/tapping/and putting the timeserts in process yesterday. I got the left side of the block all finished. It's not that hard of a process, it's just time consuming.

2004 GXP Headgasket Job
I've had this car for a few years- I parked it about 8 months ago when it started overheating and diagnosed it as a headgasket. Just recently I've been working on it at school doing the whole time-sert head bolt repair bs.

Mufflers
So I'm thinking about getting the flowmaster super 10s - the flowmaster super 40 delta flows are louder, but id like it to sound meaner. I was wondering if there would be any difference of running a one single in/dual out muffler with two pipes running out the back and running two actual mufflers?

Recently got about a foot of snow...wondering if I should take the intake out of the fender well and run a short ram type intake for the winter...has anyone had problems with snow/sand/salt being too hard on the filter in the fenderwell? our garage is heated..

Re: Head unit install question
The sound that my stereo is making is a really loud screeching type sound that is not affected by how loud or soft i turn the volume-it is always loud and it comes out of only the front left and rear door speakers. I tried different grounds to no success. :banghead: maybe it has something to do with ...

Re: Head unit install question

Bad- there is a high pitch static in the front left and the small rear door speakers...i tried rewiring the front left speaker wires and got the same result. Re: Head unit install question
Yeah I hooked it all up with the old interface and the head unit lights up and everything but no sound. If I turn the volume all the way up I can just barely hear sound if I put my ear to the speaker. I'm now wondering if its a problem with wiring or if its the interface that doesn't work..
