it is close, but i drove it enough to get the brakes hot and didnt hear any rubbing. Visual check shows no marks on the caliper or wheel.

Re: 04 GXP on the dyno
it is a dynojet unit, my printout is showing "CF: STD". Does that mean its uncorrected or that there is a standard correction factor?

Re: 04 GXP on the dyno
i calculated the loss to be 19%, if im making exactly 275hp. I may have a couple more hp in there because of the exhaust, but no way its more than 5hp gained.

04 GXP on the dyno
I got my car strapped down over the weekend, and got some numbers for you guys.
223hp at the tire, no torque reading due to issues obtaining clean ignition signal. this pull was made in 2nd gear, from 40-85mph

Re: Retrofit and quad beam
i have hid lows and fogs, and waiting for the hids to warm up after switching back to lows is unsafe. (2 sec equals over 160ft of travel at 60mph)
even just keeping the lows on would be helpful. i guess i could tap in a relay with a diode to keep the lows on with highs.

Re: Retrofit and quad beam
im still confused even though i read the whole thread.
i have a gxp, and i want all 6 lights (lows, highs, fogs) on at once when i activate the highbeams.
is there a plug and play solution? i looked at the links posted above, but they werent clear enough in their description (for me, anyway).

Re: steel wheels and back ups
crown vic steelies (03 and up) DO fit over the gxp front brakes. i have a set in my garage from my 07 vic that im going to use as winter wheels with snow tires.
they are a very close fit over the brakes, but they rotate with no interference. i might take a pic if i have time to show you guys.

Power wire routing question
I know there are probably many topics already about wiring amplifiers for subwoofers, that is not the question here.
Since i have an 04 GXP, the battery is already under the rear seat. i used a line level converter hooked to the rear speaker wires to provide signal to the subwoofers. I installed an ...
