1995 Silhouette trans problems

I replaced the VSS in my 1995 L27/4T60-E Silhouette because the speedo was bouncing around and I didn't have third or fourth gears. It worked fine when I test drove it that night. I don't drive the van very much, it's basically used for taking my wife to the dr. because the Cutlass won't hold a ...

Re: Is my harmonic balancer going bad?

Can I drive it like this for a day or two until I can get it fixed? *dang* thing won't come off with 3 different pullers and I'm going to end up having to pay someone to take it off.

Re: What could the problem be???

The main computer that controls most everything engine and emissions related. It is, I believe on a Bonneville, behind the glove box, the panel under the dash has to be removed to get to it as I recall.

I want to say code 26 is Quad Driver Module failure which usually means the ECM needs to be replaced.

It doesn't make the noise if the belt is off. Belt tensioner and water pump have been replaced.

I need to supercharge this thing or buy another van...

Re: hud windshield

My 1994 Cutlass Supreme did not come with HUD but i added it. Nice clear image. From what I've learned about those cars...The assembly line just used the windshield that had the best image, no difference at all between HUD and non-HUD windshields...But I'm not sure about Bonnevilles.

1995 Silhouette A/C troubles

I bought this van with the high speed blower relay burned out...I didn't find any obvious problems so I replaced the relay and the high speed worked fine for 6 months and the relay burned out again...Today, 6 months later, it burned up again...Any ideas?

It could be a 400 but most B-villes had the 455. Only Pontiac to get the Chevy 402 was the Parisienne in Canada. :)

It does, but doesn't always show everything that fits, plus some yards aren't using them yet.

This is especially useful at Pull-your-part yards where the office isn't friendly...lol!

Just letting you guys know that I have this program and you're welcome to ask me what fits what...Unfortunately it doesn't have EVERYTHING but most parts are on it.
